Going dark for February.

Well, m’dears, the winter blues have hit early and hard. Normally I can’t paint in February and so that is when I post all my photography from the year before, but this year I apparently can’t paint in January, either. So rather than stress myself out and provide you with lousy art results, I am officially taking a break. I will be cleaning my work spaces after last year’s insanity, organizing, cleaning my paint brushes, and in other words doing all those necessary things that often get pushed aside, and are too boring to write about. Hopefully this means that when I get my brain back in March I will be so set to go that glorious things will result.

To that end, I am sharing my top favorites from the summer photography sessions. ‘Cause a little bit of summer in the heart of winter isn’t a bad thing.

Oh! And if anyone wants to come see my show at (BAGA) Bismarck Art & Galleries Association please do! It is up for most of February, and the reception is on the first Friday. You are all officially invited.

  1. I am glad you are taking a much needed break, but I know you will be just as busy with other things.

Love love love your photography as well as your paintings!

  2. Have you ever considered using winter to submit photos for publication or contests? The Nature Conservation mag has some cool thingies going.

    1. Since I am still just learning photography, it hasn’t occurred to me to look into it. I am still on my ten year plan that turned into 15…. 😉
